There's a lot of talk about Steemit. On one end of the spectrum, I'm hearing that Steemit is the best platform ever imagined, and one that can allow people to make a living while doing what they want, rather than what they have to. However, on the other side of things, I'm hearing that this social-media site is little more than a pyramid scheme and that you cannot make anything on here unless you pay for your upvotes, or are good friends with a "whale."
I've made an account because I am pregnant, and I would like Steemit to host the birth. I am a man, so this baby I speak of is not your typical fetus. It is in fact a child of creativity, that has been growing in my mind for months now, and that I no longer feel capable of ignoring.
I want to write the story that is consuming my brain, and perhaps by writing it on here, I might also be able to earn in the time I will have to sacrifice in order to write it.
I know there are a lot of users on here attempting to earn, and so I certainly do not feel entitled to anything. Whatever my income may end up being, I am still committed to writing the entirety of this story before the year is out, so hopefully my experience here will serve as a good example to others on whether it truly is possible to earn while doing what you love here on Steemit.
I don't have much else to say, other than, if you are someone who likes to read, and someone who is interested in conspiracy theories, then you should follow me. You will love what I have to share- I hope.
I will have the first piece of my story up tomorrow, and the following parts I aim to post daily, so until then, happy Steemin'.
