They're both pretty amazing for doing this.
Today was a bright, bright, sunshiny day here, and I took the opportunity to get out at lunchtime for a walk. I took my youngest with me with a metal detector down to the creek to see what we could find. I also took with me my dSLR with a homemade pinhole lens (my digital pinhole camera).
The lens creates a somewhat dreamy look, and I felt that when colour correcting the images I was going to keep with a 1970's faded-photograph feel. I think it was the right choice.
Here is the boy - the Secret Agent himself at work - scanning for gold. Or anything. He found a lot of rocks!
The boy found some rocks. There were a lot of rocks to be found! They didn't seem to have any gold or anything, but they looked good enough for skipping in the creek!
After a short time we returned home and saw this neat set of decorations in the front of a yard. The picture is all sorts of off centered because I couldn't see through the eye piece because of sun glare. But it's still a neat set of decorations.
