The mural of prehistoric times in Viñales, Cuba, is a masterpiece of mural art built in an emblematic place in the region. It is located in Viñales, a place of a unique natural beauty and that constitutes a landscape of human creation. This work of art was created by the painter Leovigildo González Morillo. The mural is composed of 120 meters high and 160 meters wide.
This mural is a brilliant example of Cuban pictorial art, a work that stands out for its conceptual depth and the magnitude of its size. This work of art was not only one of the first works of urban art in the region, but it is also a symbol of artistic renaissance for the Viñales region.
Among its attractions it has a restaurant, a local craft shop, horseback riding and animals everywhere, all very natural.
Without a doubt it is one of the largest open-air paintings you can see, this mural is drawn with a brush simulating the Jurassic period, representing the evolution of the life of man and animals in this region of Cuba in which human figures, gigantic mammals, mollusks and Mesozoic marine reptiles are shown that make up a set of pieces of great color, blue, red, green ame yellow.
Its green and low grass with the rocks on its sides and this beautiful background mural make an ideal combination. The light that enters from the trees and rocks at the top of the mountain, also helps to create a special atmosphere, ideal for portraiture or taking postcards.

Well, so far is the initial part, but one of the things I love to have done the most was to climb the mountain and not for a rope safely, but gradually bordering the mural on the sides, here we had to change clothes and walk...
It is super exciting to be able to do this outdoor activity, I have always loved climbing mountains but I had never climbed in these conditions many places of dog teeth, quite inclined and high.

What fortunately nature makes up for everything and as you go up the mountain you admire the views even more, believe me super beautiful, of the most beautiful views I have ever seen, automatically everything I had seen and made in the day is completely opaque when I am up here.
We had to sit down to admire such a beautiful work of nature, this beautiful valley, for a moment I didn’t hear the voices of my friends, I just wanted to look and be in complete peace with myself.
