Easy Art for you to do at home.. Called Red Tulips. This drawing will show a simplistic, abstract drawing, featuring a still life with a bottle, a vase with three red tulips and a little pot of sorts.
This is not an original idea but I have changed it to reflect my own way of interpreting art. There is nothing complicated about this drawing: just horizontal lines accentuating some basic outlines of the various objects. I added some extra colour to give it a very 'sixties' look.
This artwork can easily be replicated, perhaps using some outlines of other objects. For me this is a hugely rewarding exercise and I hope that you will try it also.
The whole point of this channel is to illustrate to novice artists that art is nothing to fear, that art is only in the eye of the beholder, and that effective pieces of art can be produced using ordinary materials like whiteboard markers, permanent markers, coloured pencils etc...
And primarily to remember... Is that this is all about the journey and no so much about the destination...
As always, we also try to add great music to our clips, making this not just a visual experience, but also a clip that you can listen to without even looking at the screen.
You can use this art as a gift card, in a frame, as framed art, or laminate this artwork as placemats, or even just do this art as a meditation. There are no rules.
Small blurb about us: there are only two of us involved in Ginos Art - myself (aka Gino, the artist) and Jay, the photographer and editor. We live in Thailand and will sometimes produce art reflecting bits of the Thai culture.
