WHEN WILL MY UPVOTE BE WORTH A $100
I'm not going to talk about anyone, I will just share my opinion if my upvotes matters or not.
Two weeks ago when I joined this platform, I had read about curation rewards and how we get paid by upvoting people's post, this made me curious and wanted to upvote every post I saw, not considering the fact that I could pass the number of times required to upvote in a day, even though it might reduce my voting power.
The funny thing is that, every time I place my upvotes the amount which people earn does not change, it felt bad because I wasn't laying impact on this money and my upvotes seemed useless to me. Discourage thoughts started approaching my mindset, but at the same time, I wanted to do better in order to make my upvotes count.
At this moment, my upvotes worth a few cents, not good enough to make people earn money, but motivating to me because it's worth was nothing just few days ago. Now this are things I want to do:
I want to work and bring more people to this platform, and lay impact on this platform.
I want to work harder so that my upvotes will mean something to the new people I invite to steemit everyday.
I want to work harder and, never have to work for someone in my life due to this great opportunity steemit has given to me.
I want to work so that in a year or less to come, a whale or dolphin would say thank you for your impact on this platform
I want to work so that I won't have to go through too much stress inviting people to STEEMIT.
I want to work hard so that I can be able to make my way to steemfest2 and make myself proud.
To all the newbies and minnows out there, make sure you put in work in other to be successful here on steemit.
