A Window to the Outside World
There are many metaphors and allegories we can use to delve deeper into more profound questions.
We often—if not most of the time—act almost automatically, without being fully present in the moment.
We wake up. We get out of bed. We go to wash up. We return to the bedroom... and we hardly think about how wonderful it is to have another day of life. Looking at this as a gift ultimately makes us grateful for something we simply don’t value and take for granted.
There are always two sides. We can look at what’s right in front of us and focus on the positives, or on what we don’t have... And in truth, both perspectives are valid. But they’re still just impressions or assumptions we make. They won’t change what’s on the outside. They only change how we “see” them on the inside.
Just like our perception of the outside world, this post in this community uses two ways of seeing the “world.” The same object, the same image, just two different filters.
How do you like to view the world?
