Hi Steemians!!
Today, I'm highlighting an upcoming ICO that begins tomorrow 2pm GMT time or 10am EST time sharp!! The reason is I know the ICO market will be full of what people will call scams but I think this one looks very interesting to me. For full disclosure I'm planning on investing into this ICO as in the short to medium term there is potential. And depending on how the development of the project progresses may be good long term but will have to wait to see. I've been scouring the ICO market and am only interested in the ones that have the best potential to do well with good development teams that are transparent in their projects and developments. I missed the boat on the Veritaseum ICO, oh well 😢!!
So what is Status?
Status is an open source messaging platform and mobile browser to interact with decentralized applications that run on the Ethereum Network.
The Development Team
This platform is somewhat similar to WeChat in China, but its still in early development stages and has so much more potential as it acts like a hub for use of Dapps on the Ethereum network. I'm actually testing out the mobile app and its pretty interesting even though its only the alpha version. Status allows you to access Decentralized Apps at your fingertips. With the Status app, you can turn your smart phone into a light client node on the Ethereum Network, which gives you access to the entire Ethereum ecosystem.
If that doesn't sound interesting, especially if your a believer in the future of Ethereum then this is just what the ecosystem needs. I'm not going to list all the details of Status or how the ICO works and how to contribute as I want people that want to invest in this ICO to do a bit of their own homework and decide for themselves.
