The Colt 1911 A1 Gold Cup is a .22lr competition pistol. It is the official competition configuration for shooting and plinking competitions. At a weight of 2.25 lbs, it's easy to handle and achieve a higher accuracy rate. Of course I like to shoot shit and blow shit up, but plinking is one of my favorite past times. First because it is affordable and second because it's challenging.
