What is Glaucoma.
Glaucoma is;
Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, the health of which is vital to good vision. The damage is often caused by an abnormally high pressure in the eye. Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness of people above the age of 60.
My father was diagnosed with Glaucoma some years back and since then we have been going from one eye specialist to another to see how he can get treated from it.
But to no avail, he has not got any relief from it. Someone told me about a very good eye hospital in another state that could help my father get relief, so me and my father decided to travel to the eye hospital to see the doctor.
It was while we were on our way, that we were involved in that mild accident that I talked about in my other post a couple of days ago.
Anyway, I thank God that we arrived safely to our destination.
We got to see the doctor after a long wait on the queue. But we finally got attended to by the doctor and the doctor checked my father's eye and discovered that the Glaucoma had reached it's advanced stage and he told me that since it has reached this stage, the eyes are already gone and there is nothing that anyone can to cure it.
But I believe that Glaucoma can be cure and this is why I have decided to talk about it to you guys and to find out whether you have an idea of how it can be cured.
