ULOG# 27: Steemgigs Discord Talk Show: CURATION 101 With Our Boy Terry

It was another amazing night with lovely people in steemgigs discord talk show. I had fun listening and talking to some people whom I already knew and some whom I just met through Hive account@surpassinggoogle's talk show.

I want to thank Hive account@maverickinvictus and Hive account@nexrules for being great moderators of the show. I was glad to hear sir mave's cool voice again. How I wish I could really hear him sing as well. heheh. I was also glad that Hive account@nexrule was such a very good student during our curation 101 lesson with sir terry Hive account@surpassinggoogle. He was quick to take down notes so I just had to do screenshots for me to remember all sir terry had been talking about.

I have learned lot of things about curation. And I agree with what most people were saying about it.

Truly, when you embraced your fate here in #steemit, you should always remember that you cannot demand everyone to give value to your posts. You should never expect everyone to read your blogs and curate them. We should always remember that we are here because we wanted to write, to learn and connect with other people as #steemit is another form of social media.

There are many ways on how your posts will be curated. First is think of a good topic to write and pour your heart in it. Hive account@mermaidvampire has actually been giving tips about it last night. And I agree with her that writing a very long blog doesn't guarantee curation. Even short blogs can be curated well if it is composed well, organized and has a heart. Writing is really a passion. Just keep on writing good quality posts, connect with other people in #steemit and learn from them, then I am sure people will start noticing your efforts.

It was just a sad thing that sir terry was still not feeling well so he was not really that prepared but the show was still great.

Then came the after party which I love as I got to hear lovely voices in #steemit sing. I actually dozed off while listening when after party started. haha. When I woke up, it was Hive account@beany-inhinyero who was already singing. Yey! ❤ I was glad to see my Hive account@steemitdiversify family there, Hive account@purpledaisy57, Hive account@akoaypilipina, Hive account@sitiaishah, Hive account@beany-inhinyero and Hive account@drahries.

I really enjoyed listening sir @Darren Claxton and @Ed Privat. They were really good singers.
When I checked on the time, it as almost 5am. The sun was almost up. I was able to sleep again with my headset on. lol

When I woke up again, people were still there busy talking and singing. I had fun talking with sir Hive account@atongis. hahaha. I also got to sing hehehe.

I also got to hear Hive account@bloghound and Hive account@princessvanessa sing. Wow, they were also good.

I really had a great time at the show. And another good thing about it is that I got to know more people there. For this show, I got to know sir @atongis...LODI hahahaha. He gained anither follower which happened to be me. wahah..

I am looking forward to the next show. ❤❤
