Hola queridos amigos de @Motherhood, saludos y bendiciones, en esta ocasión vengo para hablarles sobre un día especial que tuve con mi pequeño hijo, su cumpleaños, ya cumplió 6 años, en definitiva, el tiempo pasa muy rápido, como recuerdo que hasta hace poco había comenzado a caminar, sus primeras palabras, saliendo sus dientes, cada uno de sus pasos, ciertamente el tiempo pasa volando y cuando menos crees ya están todos grandes, lo cual trae muchos recuerdos y nostalgias al respecto.

Es un día en el que definitivamente la nostalgia te agarra, sobre todo cuando a través de las todos te das cuenta de todos los cambios que ha venido teniendo, y también cada cosa que juntos hemos aprendido, es algo muy bonito de recordar, y para este día bueno ya me había planificado un poco que quería hacer, aunque por mi parte tenía trabajo quería ver que le podría hacer algo, una fiesta como tal no pude por una situación personal que presento, pero claro no quería dejarle pasar su día sin nada, aunque también había pensado en picarle una torta con sus compañeros de salón, pero no tuvieron clase por consejo de docentes jeje, así que bueno busque otro plan para hacerle pasar su día diferente y alegre.

En primera instancia al despertar su regalo y desayuno, él encantado con todo, le decore un poco la sala con globos y con detalles de su color favorito que es el rojo para que se sintiera a gusto, ya después en la hora de almuerzo lo lleve a comer lo que más le gusta, su pizza, sentía que era algo que no podía faltar, aunque ya también él me había dicho que quería comer ello, le encanta mucho y definitivamente la disfruta, así que con más razón no podía dejar de complacerlo, después paseamos un rato comiendo helado y ello, también fuimos a comprar su torta, no pude mandar a otra persona porque todos estaban ocupados pero mejor fui con mi hijo, ya que él mismo la escogió a su gusto jeje, ya de ahí regresamos a casa, esperando a que en la tarde noche se le pudiera cantar su cumpleaños.

Aunque recibimos la sorpresa de que su Prima se había desocupado y lo invito a comer y cantar cumpleaños con una dona jeje para hacer algo diferente, como tenía reunión deje que entonces saliera con ellos y pasara un rato diferente, ya cuando regreso estaba muy feliz por la salida y como había pasado su día, luego nos preparamos y le cantamos su cumpleaños, me alegro mucho escucharlo decir que todo estaba bonito y que gracias por lo que había hecho por él en su día, fue algo sencillo sin muchas cosas ni fiesta, pero gracias a Dios si le gusto y valió la pena cada detalle que lo hizo sentir feliz y especial.

Honestly, time flies by so quickly. I remember how just a short while ago he had just started walking, his first words, his teeth coming in, every single step he took. Time certainly flies, and before you know it, they’re all grown up—which brings back so many memories and a sense of nostalgia.

It’s a day when nostalgia definitely sets in, especially when you look back and realize all the changes that have taken place, and also everything we’ve learned together—it’s such a beautiful thing to remember. For this day, I’d already planned a few things I wanted to do; even though I had work, I wanted to see if I could do something special for him. I couldn’t throw a party as such because of a personal situation that came up, but of course I didn’t want to let his day go by without doing anything. I’d also thought about having him cut a cake with his classmates, but they didn’t have class on the teachers’ advice, haha, so I looked for another plan to make his day special and joyful.

First, when he woke up, I gave him his gift and breakfast, he was thrilled with everything. I decorated the living room a little with balloons and touches of his favorite color, red, so he’d feel comfortable. Then, at lunchtime, I took him to eat what he likes best—pizza. I felt like it was something I couldn’t miss, even though he’d already told me he wanted to eat it. He loves it so much and definitely enjoys it, so all the more reason I couldn’t pass up the chance to make him happy. Afterward, we went for a walk while eating ice cream and such, and we also went to buy his cake. I couldn’t send someone else because everyone was busy, but I decided to go with my son instead, since he picked it out himself, hehe. From there, we went back home, waiting until late in the evening so we could sing “Happy Birthday” to him.

Although we were surprised to find out that his cousin was free, and she invited him over for lunch and to sing “Happy Birthday” with a doughnut—hehe—just to do something different, since I had a meeting, I let him go out with them and have a different kind of time. When he came back, he was really happy about the outing and how his day had gone, we got ready and sang “Happy Birthday” to him. I was so glad to hear him say that everything was lovely and thank me for what I’d done for him on his special day. It was a simple celebration without a lot of fuss or a big party, but thank God he liked it, and every little detail that made him feel happy and special was worth it.
