DIY Marcalibros con Acuarelas / DIY Bookmark with Watercolors
De verdad que HIVE BLOG ha despertado mi entusiamo por completo. No soy pintora, mis hijos si son, pero desde que se volvieron Artistas Digitales abandonaron la creación de artes físicas, por decirlo de alguna manera. En casa tenemos un cantidad de materiales bastante importante, guardados en el olvido.
Me atreví a revisar todo y a realizar mi Primera Pintura en Acuarela animada un poco por mi hijo, quien me decía que es muy, muy fácil; que además podía empezar con algo sencillo y que me garantizaba que me iba a sentir bien no solo en el proceso, sino con el resultado, porque las Acuarelas tienen esa bondad
Aquí les presento el Paso a Paso que realicé para este nuevo DIY Marcalibros con Acuarelas.
Primero dispuse los materiales que pensaba utilizar, y comencé a descubrir cómo se comportan las Acuarelas. Son muy fáciles de conocer y como mamá me gustó que no generan mucho desastre, porque todo es muy fácil de limpiar. Me puse a pintar, manchar, y practicar el dibujo que iba a realizar posteriormente.
Luego desprendí una hoja de un block de cartulina escolar, y marqué el tamaño de los marcalibros. Los hice de 7cms por 21 cms, pero esto puede variar como quieras. Los corté con la guillotina, puedes usar tijeras por supuesto. Y de una hoja me salieron 3 marcalibros.
Luego, con un lápiz tracé suavemente el diseño que tenía pensado, que son dos flores que se cruzan; solo como un boceto para ubicar el diseño, no muy fuerte ya que cuando pintes se puede manchar el color.
Llegó el momento de pintar, tomé una de las cartulinas que había cortado, y es solo cuestión de mojar el pincel en agua, luego mojar el área a pintar en la cartulina, con el mismo pincel tomar agua nuevamente y disolver un poco el color a usar, y pintar manchas que serán el relleno de las flores, siguiendo un poco el boceto que hice, pero en forma más espontánea y desordenada, ya que el dibujo que escogí es así.
También hice manchas alrededor del diseño de flores. Importante, no echar mucha agua porque puede comprometer el estado de la cartulina. Hay que ir practicando y conociendo los materiales que disponemos.
Las otras dos cartulinas las pinté en forma mas desordenada aún, pero con los mismos colores.
Durante unos minutos se deja secar todo, las Acuarelas secan muy rápido, pero hay que asegurarse que esté bien seco, ya que ahora con un marcador punta fina se realiza el dibujo de las flores, y el mensaje que usé. Y ya todo va tomando más forma.
Ahora con un perforador, abrí un hueco arriba y le metí una cinta que combinaba bien con todo.
Se le puede incorporar cualquier adorno que quieras, yo le puse unas escarchas tipo confeti redonditas y muy pequeñas, y escarcha en polvo, usando pega blanca. Esto para hacerlas mas llamativas y bellas.
Para finalizar recomiendo plastificar con papel contac transparente, para que duren en el tiempo y protegerla bien. En este momento no disponía de papel contac, pero lo tengo pendiente.
Y de verdad que estoy muy feliz con el resultado, y también con el proceso porque fue muy relajante, sin estrés de que me va a quedar mal el diseño porque no se pintar, pues con un poco de amor se logran bellos resultados.

I dared to review everything and make my First Watercolor Painting encouraged a little by my son, who told me that it is very, very easy; that I could also start with something simple and that I was guaranteed to feel good not only in the process, but with the result, because Watercolors have that kindness
Here I present the Step by Step that I did for this new DIY Bookmark with Watercolors.
I first laid out the materials I intended to use, and began to discover how Watercolors behave. They are very easy to get to know and as a mom I liked that they do not create much of a mess, because everything is very easy to clean. I began to paint, stain, and practice the drawing that I was going to make later.
Then I tore a sheet from a school cardboard block, and marked the size of the bookmarks. I made them 7cms by 21cms, but this can vary as you like. I cut them with the guillotine, you can use scissors of course. And from one sheet I got 3 bookmarks.
Then, with a pencil, I gently traced the design I had in mind, which is two intersecting flowers; just as a sketch to place the design, not very strong since when you paint the color can be smeared.
It's time to paint, I took one of the cardboards that I had cut, and it's just a matter of dipping the brush in water, then wetting the area to be painted on the cardboard, with the same brush take water again and dissolve a little the color to use, and paint spots that will fill the flowers, following the sketch I made a bit, but in a more spontaneous and messy way, since the drawing I chose is like this.
I also made stains around the flower design. Important, do not pour too much water because it can compromise the condition of the cardboard. You have to practice and get to know the materials that we have.
The other two cards I painted in an even more disorderly way, but with the same colors.
Let everything dry for a few minutes, the Watercolors dry very quickly, but you have to make sure that it is dry, since now with a fine tip marker the drawing of the flowers is made, and the message that I used. And everything is taking more shape.
Now with a hole punch, I punched a hole at the top and put in a ribbon that went well with everything.
You can add any decoration you want, I put some very small, round confetti-type glitter, and glitter powder, using white glue. This to make them more striking and beautiful.
To finish, I recommend laminating with transparent contact paper, so that they last over time and protect it well. At this time I did not have contact paper, but I have it pending.
And I am really very happy with the result, and also with the process because it was very relaxing, without stress that the design is going to look bad because I don't know how to paint, because with a little love beautiful results are achieved.
