El pasado domingo 10 de mayo se celebró en Venezuela el día de las madres, y en las instituciones educativas del país siempre se acostumbran realizar actividades relacionadas con este día para agasajar a las madres de los estudiantes; ssí que el día viernes 8 en la mañana, tuve que asistir a dos actividades para celebrar este día.
Me tocó ir al liceo donde estudia mi hijo menor donde se había organizado una actividad para agasajar a las madres y en la institución educativa donde yo trabajo a la coordinación a la cual estoy adscrita también se había organizado un pequeño compartir para celebrar nuestro día Jejejeje, les comparto algunos detalles de este día, dos actividades y una sola celebración
Last Sunday, May 10, was Mother’s Day in Venezuela, and educational institutions across the country typically organize activities to celebrate this day and honor the students’ mothers; so on Friday morning, the 8th, I had to attend two events to celebrate the occasion.
I went to the high school where my youngest son studies, where an event had been organized to honor the mothers, and at the school where I work, the department I’m assigned to had also organized a small get-together to celebrate our day. Hehehehe, I’ll share some details about this day with you—two events and one celebration.
El día comenzó muy temprano, me tocó levantarme antes de las 6am a preparar unos sándwich que me tocaba llevar para la actividad del colegio de mi hijo; mientras los preparé nos alistamos mi niño y yo, se hicieron las 7:15 de la mañana, llegamos al liceo a las 7:30 que era la hora pautada para dar inicio a la actividad; cuando llegamos ya habían muchas personas, la asistencia fue masiva, el lugar estaba hermosamente decorado, bastante sencillo pero hermosamente decorado, se dio inicio a la actividad con unas palabras para las madres, hubo participación de los niños con poemas, cantos, poesía que cada uno dedicaba a su mamá y la sorpresa de la mañana fue un mariachi que llevó el personal directivo de la institución el cual deleitó a los presentes con hermosas canciones, realmente fue el más aplaudido de la mañana y es que a quién no le gusta un mariachi ? Jejeje ; luego de esto continuaron algunas otras participaciones por parte de los estudiantes de los distintos grados desde primaria hasta quinto año de bachillerato, y para concluir la actividad cada alumno agrupados por año le obsequió un pequeño detalle a su mamá el cual había preparado con anticipación con su maestra; y finalmente tuvimos un pequeño compartir donde se nos dieron pasapalos sándwiches, pastelitos, galletas con diversas salsas, refresco y así a eso de las 10 de la mañana concluimos la primera actividad !
De allí me tocó rápidamente irme a la institución donde trabajo, gracias a Dios que quedan bastante cerca, la hora de inicio de nuestra actividad estaba pautada para las 10 de la mañana, preparamos una torta, unos cupcakes y una representante que hace vida allí con nosotros por circunstancias ajenas a su voluntad nos obsequió unos lapiceros hermosamente decorado, compartimos entre charlas, risas, alegría y, por último cortamos el pastel y tomamos refresco.
Así concluimos esta ajetreada pero hermosa mañana con estas dos actividades alusivas al día de la madre !

The day started very early; I had to get up before 6:00 a.m. to prepare some sandwiches that I had to take for my son's school activity. While I was preparing them, my son and I got ready. It was 7:15 a.m., and we arrived at the school at 7:30, which was the scheduled time to begin the activity. When we arrived, there were already many people; the turnout was massive. The place was beautifully decorated, quite simple but beautifully decorated. The activity began with a few words for the mothers. There was participation from the children with poems, songs, and poetry that each one dedicated to their mother. The surprise of the morning was a mariachi band brought by the school's administrative staff, which delighted those present with beautiful songs. It was truly the most applauded of the morning, and who doesn't like a mariachi band? Hehehe; After this, several other students from different grades, from elementary to the fifth year of high school, participated. To conclude the activity, each student, grouped by grade, gave their mother a small gift they had prepared beforehand with their teacher. Finally, we had a small get-together with snacks like sandwiches, pastries, cookies with various dips, and soft drinks. Around 10:00 a.m., we finished the first activity!
From there, I quickly had to go to the school where I work. Thankfully, it's quite close. Our activity was scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. We prepared a cake and cupcakes, and a representative who lives there with us, due to circumstances beyond her control, gave us some beautifully decorated pens. We shared conversation, laughter, and joy, and finally, we cut the cake and had some soft drinks.
Thus, we concluded this busy but beautiful morning with these two activities in honor of Mother's Day!
