As some people requested it, here is FLAME (Acoustic Live version) on Free Download without the spoken intro and clearer sound. This was the performance that won Open Mic week 83 so the recording is "live" but these days I'm working to finish a very different version of this theme with a different layout of instruments (and even different pitch). A very old original song of mine about the contradictions of love, the new version will feature folk instruments but here is the one you've listened to so far.
So stay tuned for the forthcoming new version of "Flame" and meanwhile here is the acoustic unedited version added to my Dsound portfolio. And though some of my followers have already listened to this I thought about adding it for the newcomers in a downloadable version with just the sung part of the original video. New "studio" version is on the way.
Lyrics
It's so cold when North wind blows
Bringing hail and pearls of frost
That's the way that you do chill me to the bone
Fear the dark when the moon hides
All its beams behind the clouds
That's the way I fear when you are not around
This could be hell, this could be heaven
It could be both it could be neither
But my heart longs to surrender
Not to starve again
Bitter in my chest
Could it be?
Could it be that
I am burning in the flames of love?
I am burning in the flames of love
Oh I am burning
Oh I burn
In the flame of love
But that's the way that you do chill me to the bone
But that's the way that you chill me...
