I wrote about the TenX Pay Token before. Their debit card looks great and token holders get a small piece of the rewards, so I was set up getting a few of those tokens.
I usually don't participate in ICO's but was willing to make an exception this time and invest a small amount.
I send a few ETH at the exact time (1PM UTC) using MEW. TenX recommended recommended 50 Gwei, so I thought I'd add 10% just to be sure and made it 55 Gwei. I increase the Gas limit as well. But clearly this wasn't enough as my transaction kept pending until the tokens were sold out, about 10 minutes later. I guess people with higher gas price must have ended up in front of the queue...
So far my ICO experience. Be ready at the send at the exact time, see the ICO ending with your tx still pending, only to have it bounce back an hour later and losing a bit of money in fees...
Lesson learned...
