Hello friends of Steemit especially to the fans of the most beautiful sport in the world, football. I hope you had a great week and are feeling well. Today I will tell you a little bit about the story of a great South American player and how hard his life was until he became a star of European football.
His full name is Alexis Alejandro Sánchez Sánchez popularly known as "The wonder child" or simply Alexis Sánchez, he was born in the city of Tocopilla in northern Chile on 19 December 1988. He is a footballer recognized worldwide, especially in Europe for his great trajectory in different clubs.
She grew up in a coastal city in the middle of the mountains and the sea, where she had to face a very difficult life in conditions of poverty and social problems. Her mother, Martina, became a single mother when she told her biological father that Alexis would come into the world, who felt that he was not prepared for such responsibility and denied being the father, so she ran away with the excuse of working in a mine outside the city.
Alexis Sanchez grew up with his mother and three siblings in a very humble house with precarious building materials. However, one of his biological father's brothers, José Delaigue, became a great support for the family, especially for little Alexis.
The little boy grew up playing with his neighborhood friends, even barefoot on the sand courts, but none of this was enough to fulfill the dream that every night he repeated to his mother when he got up: "I want to be the best player in the world.
At the age of 10, his uncle took him to the city of Rancagua to play in one of the schools of the Catholic University club, but later he returned to his hometown.
When he turned 15 while playing with his friends as usual, the mayor of the city was impressed with the way he played and bought him his first football boots, which he proudly wore for a long time.
Shortly afterwards he excelled in a regional championship representing his hometown, scoring a total of 8 goals. And in this way his quality and way of playing were getting better and better, so much so that he went on to play for the Corbeloa club and later for Colo Colo. He was also in Argentina with River Plate. In 2010 he joined Udinese Calcio from Italy, where he was a team-mate of his compatriot Mauricio Isla.
It was at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa where the eyes of the world were amazed at his talent, to the point that he received offers from the most important clubs in Europe, such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus, Barcelona and even Real Madrid.
Alexis was always looking after his family especially his mother and his uncle fell ill in 2011 because of prostate cancer, which ended up taking his life before the player confirmed in July that same year his transfer to F.C. Barcelona team where his uncle always dreamed of watching him play.
This great player never forgot his origins, nor his family, that's why he returned to his city to spend a Christmas with his mother and other relatives and close friends. And to his surprise on Christmas Eve he met his biological father, Guillermo Soto Espinoza, who reappeared in one of the best moments of the Chilean player. Although Alexis grew up without seeing his father, he did see his son grow up behind the cameras and news until he became one of the best players in the world.
The footballer managed to get ahead and fulfill his dream but always felt that great emptiness so when he met his father he forgave him immediately. He was always by his mother's side and never held a grudge in his heart towards his biological father, although their relationship is not the best in the world as seen in the movies, they maintain a very cordial relationship where they join to chat.
In a study made by FIFA was included in a list of the 10 fastest footballers in the world occupying 10 place, also is the only player in history to score a hat-trick in the three major football leagues in the world, the Serie A of Italy, League of Spain and the Premier League of England. One thing Alexis Sanchez is sure is that if things had not happened as they did, maybe everything would be different, maybe he would not have come to where he is today and become one of the best players in the world.
