Nature and Emotions 🌿
I don’t know if it happens to you too, but whenever I walk through a place full of nature, I feel alive. I relax, I release stress, and it feels incredibly freeing. I can even feel the air in my lungs with much more energy than usual.
Where I live is a small town with little pollution, but even so, I truly enjoy those green spaces where I can recharge my energy. I have always been a very emotional person, and I believe emotions deeply influence our entire being. Many times they determine our attitude toward life and even, in my humble opinion, many illnesses may originate from emotional struggles: childhood trauma, difficult experiences, or repressed emotions that we never fully heal.
I think it is important to recognize what affects us and work on it in order to improve our quality of life.
In my case, after identifying an emotional problem, I often walk barefoot on the grass in the afternoons. It helps me release stress, clear my mind, and think more calmly. Other times, I simply sit outside at sunset, when the shade begins to appear, and reflect on how to solve the things I still haven’t overcome or why I keep repeating the same patterns.
Life does not always give us clear tools to deal with everything we feel. Many times we move forward without knowing what awaits us, trying to understand ourselves while continuing our journey. A large part of our existence is connected to this earth, and that is why nature has such a deep influence on our being.
I truly love nature. I feel that it is part of me, and connecting with it helps me see life from a different perspective. The peace it transmits, the sounds, the fresh air, and the energy of those spaces help me find clarity and calm in the middle of so many thoughts.
One of the therapies that helps reduce stress and reconnect with our emotions is yoga. Practicing it in a peaceful environment surrounded by nature can make the experience even more meaningful. It helps us calm our minds, listen to ourselves, and work through emotional processes that we often keep hidden inside.
I believe that when we learn to listen to ourselves, heal our emotions, and connect more deeply with nature, we begin to understand life from a calmer and more conscious perspective.
Do you also feel more connected to yourself when you spend time in nature?
