One of the more interesting places to visit in North Carolina is the historic Biltmore Estate. The Biltmore Estate is a sprawling grounds located outside of Asheville. The estate's centerpiece is a giant mansion surrounded by beautiful mountains, trees, and flowers. The mansion is no longer inhabited, but is set up for tours through its many rooms and hallways. It is a truly magnificent building and is full of interesting historical significance and information. Unfortunately, I didn't manage take many good pictures while inside the building, but I did take pictures while in the Biltmore Gardens located adjacent to the mansion. In comparison to the mansion, the gardens were simple and less extravagant, but they were filled with color, wildlife, and all kinds of greenery (I tend to enjoy that sort of natural beauty more than a fancy house anyways). Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the Biltmore Gardens. If you're ever in the Asheville area I highly recommend visiting!
