Every year on July 4th Columbus is treated to one of the more strange events known to man. The Doodah Parade is a parade "Where Liberty & Lunacy is Still a Pleasure!" according to their website. It's a totally independent parade that literally anyone can show up to and walk in. The parade is a celebration of America, free speech, and all around weirdness. Most of the participants dress up in strange costume and carry signs featuring some sort of political satire or humor. It's a difficult event to explain due to the diversity and weirdness of its participants, so I'll let my pictures do the talking! If you're ever in Columbus for the 4th of July it's definitely an even worth checking out. I guarantee it will be memorable!
