While many of us travel to these beautiful islands to enjoy all of the amazing amenities we are offered, sometimes, the local residents don't have it so easy.
On this particular island, houses are built to allow for additional expansion once the owner has enough funds. Loans are very expensive and difficult to obtain so everything is built slowly and only when more room is needed.
As difficult as this lifestyle may seem to some of us, the people I had the opportunity to meet were some of the nicest, most grateful people you would ever know.
