I became a blogger because of steemit. I made my first video with and it is quite an experience and platform. The experience for me is interesting because I am a marketer and communicator which makes me a bit of a perfectionist. So, I had to start out just recording and producing and releasing without the level of perfection I would insist upon from something like our music albums. The platform is simple and empowering as we build our following and fortune and augment both with immersive video.
A couple simple tips for those starting out, login directly (steemconnect seemed to have problems for me,) hold your phone sideways to film a wider hi-def video and throw some interesting/indicative text on the snap to grab the attention of those with too much going on with their feed.
Today, as you may have seen in my post https://steemit.com/dappweekend/@zekepickleman/dapp-weekend-continues-partiko-eed5ixol we had one last dusting of snow which is the topic of conversation for those who venture out. I took that as an opportunity to get out and busy and active doing things with the family. This is a quick 1-minute video of the square in town I visited after the kids were happily painting their ceramic mugs and daddy needed a beer.
My partners in crime as far as dtube goes are juggernauts you probably heard of by the names of and
/@dcooperation These are 2 of the most active and entertaining dtube celebrities and I would encourage you to follow and explore the blogs of each to become involved. Some of the champions of the steem/dtube movement and so very supportive to those doing the same. Of course, with everything I do here, the #powerhousecreatives are with me and do a great amount of vlogging and dtubing so definitely check out that tag and follow some powerhouses.
