We are likely familiar with the phrase; Thank God It's Friday. And mostly for workers, the joy of the weekend is second to none for them cause they will have a little bit of break off work and office duties. They can take their time at home working on other stuff like doing the laundry, cleaning the house, and probably cooking varieties of food that will last them for the coming week. And at the same time also, it's a call for some relaxation.
I could have sworn that weekends for me aren't always the same as others.
Like there is nothing enjoyable about the weekends for me.
Rather it's more work and stress and not liking a stressful life means the weekend is not always in my favour.
I get to work more on weekends than I do on normal days, trying to wrap up things and rushing over a few too.
Writing on weekends too is a pain in the ass sometimes phewww, I go about beating myself up on how to pen down something and still handle the other tasks awaiting me in some ways, so yeah, the weekend is no fun or a break period for me. I prefer the work days to weekends except for Sunday when I will go to church to fellowship with the brethren.
What Are Weekends Like For You?
You could share your thoughts and weekend experiences with me. How do you plan out your weekends? what do you do and how do you get yourself prepared and ready for the new week? It can be anything and anyhow, but just kindly share.
Do you have more work to do over the weekend than you do on normal working days? Do you relax all you want on weekends that you sometimes wish it's longer than it usually is?
What about the pain of doing the laundry and other household chores on weekends, how fun is that?
Either way, we all have different stories to tell about our weekends and how we handle things during this period. And yes I will still use this opportunity to wish you all a happy and work-less weekend. Take a break, get all the rest your body desires, relax a bit, and have fun, it's the weekend after all.
