We are now in the month of July, which is almost over, more than half a year, In this month, in the school environment, it is the culmination of a school year, where from elementary school to high school, it is a whirlwind of emotions for the children who are moving from one stage to another, within the same stage to the next grade, looking forward to that end-of-year party, where they go dressed in their best clothes to say goodbye to their classmates and teachers.
Since I left 6th grade and high school, my graduations were simple but very beautiful, and I still remember them, but now I see that they are beautiful with decorations, party favors, and uniforms, even with caps made of foam.
My high school graduation.
I had two graduations: one in sixth grade, where we wore our best clothes, no uniforms, and the other was my high school graduation, which was a little better. It was held at a club, we wore formal attire, and there was even a celebration party at the same club. And finally, my university graduation, my teaching degree.
After those, I attended others, such as my siblings' graduations. My sister Ettna's high school and university graduations, which are the formal culmination of the entire educational process from preschool onwards. My brother Marx's high school graduation, from the mass to the ceremony, as I have always been the family photographer, I couldn't miss such an event. And my younger brother's three graduations: sixth grade, high school, and university.
My sister and an aunt at different graduations.
My brother's high school graduation.
Then, over time, my children's graduations were even more special. I participated in the preparations: making badges, taking photos, even being the speaker at the ceremonies. It was a real honor to be involved. My daughter has only had one nice one, her preschool graduation, because in 6th grade a classmate passed away and they decided not to have a ceremony, and when she was in technical school, the pandemic hit and all graduations were banned. But as a mother who wanted her to have photos of her moment, I rented a gown and cap and did a photo shoot at home. Now, in two years, it will be her college graduation, God willing.
With my son, since preschool, 6th grade, high school, where, in addition to his mother, I made party favors, took photos, and made promotional packages. Even his parties.
My niece at her preschool graduation.
My son at his high school graduation.
When I worked at the school, I was in charge of organizing the graduation ceremony for four years in a row, practicing with the students, decorations, posters, folders, diplomas, etc. We formed a working group with all the school staff and everything went wonderfully. I miss doing this so much, I just look at the photos of those moments.
Promotion at the school where I worked.
Now I only see the promotions and graduations of my friends' children, of friends. Recently, a goddaughter graduated from university. Seeing it on social media, I feel the excitement of wanting to be part of the organization again, because I've always done it.
The photos are my property from my physical album. I took the photos and edited them on the computer to bring them here. A few are in digital format, also on the computer.
