Most of us have never really thought much about how civilization started. The exact details are missing, but it goes something like this. A hunter figured out that by watching the weather patterns, one could farm crops and manipulate their yields and be liberated from hunting. Then other hunters came along and saw what this one hunter did and decided to take a shortcut to having what the first hunter had in a new farm. They said…
Give me 1/10th of your crops or your first born child to help or we will kill you.
The first hunter, not having his hunting weapons in hand realized it would be foolish to resist, so he gives one tenth of his crop and the other hunters move along. One of the hunters that originally threatened the original hunter (now turned farmer) got an idea. Instead of outright use of violence, lets offer our services in protection against other hunters threatening to extort the new farmer after all they are starting to cut into our share of the crops and unless we step in to protect, they will also take our share. They start wearing a special stone that they carved on their chests to indicate their status.
This one tenth idea becomes common and is eventually called a “tithe”. It’s then wrapped up in superstitions associated with religion, God and death. These ideas become intertwined to such an extent that they become an emotional engram. Eventually few people question whether these ideas are right or wrong. They just accept the superstition of authority as their god. Larken Rose explains this extremely well…
One of the most fundamental moral / ethical principles is the idea of the golden rule which is that you should treat others as you would yourself. Since it is almost universally the case that everyone wants the benefits of owning one’s self (this is called freedom), it logically follows that all forms of coercion and violence are wrong. This means that if it’s not right for an individual to do it, then it doesn’t become right when wearing a special costume engaged in a legal fiction such as government either. You always need consent. If you don’t have consent, you are violating someone’s space and committing wrong.
There is only one exception to the use of force and that is in self defense because someone else has used violence against you in an attempt to coerce or use force against your will. The reason that all relationships need to have a voluntary nature is to eliminate the violence that inevitably creeps in when coercion or force is used. The exception to this is with children who before the age of volition don’t really have any initiative (and therefore need protection).
The question then comes, who will protect the children? Naturally the parents. We have to understand something fundamental here. There are no guarantees in life. No matter what you do, bad things will happen. It’s part of existing on this planet. No amount of law, regulation, or promised guarantee will make bad things go away. They only work to empower parasites in building a fiction used to extort you and you will still always have the bad things happening. But now it’s even worse, because the bad things that are happening are happening because those in uniform use their excuses to commit atrocities at a much larger scale.
Another confusion I hear often is that anarchy means lawlessness. This is not the case. There is always natural law, but those who rely on statist guarantees are confused as to the true nature of our existence. You always have to be responsible for yourself. This is the down side of freedom because it’s naturally hard to do. Many people want the good side of freedom, but not the responsibility. Self ownership is actually quite difficult, but is the morally correct path.
The underlying message of the #MeToo movement
Permit me this small astrological digression. I found it interesting that this movement started almost to the day when Jupiter ingressed into tropical Scorpio. Jupiter is associated with boundaries (especially legal ones) and Scorpio is often associated with sexuality and death. It’s at this most deeply personal level that the boundaries are being tested right now. What is the moral thing to do when it comes to relationships? It’s shining a spotlight on coercion and use of force which the state claims a monopoly on (at the personal level this is rape or sexual assault). Unfortunately more confusion has resulted because we’ve accepted statist lies. And now it’s turned out that in some cases, false accusations have been made because the emotional fervor was useful against political opponents (another form of coercion and use of force).
Notice the use of "my" in the above sign title. Does this person think that they own all of that land? This is a classic overstepping of bounds (and is also an example of reification). While the principles stated on that sign I agree with, I would never force anyone else to agree with them. I would simply ask that my personal space is respected and whatever they want to do as long as they aren't hurting anyone else should be fine. Lastly, there are no real boundaries; we are all earthlings. The use of "America" for justification is unnecessary and is a symptom that the holders are infected with the disease of statism.
At this point you’re probably wondering what on earth bitcoin has to do with all of this. The decentralized nature of the underlying technology (the solution to the Byzantine Generals problem without the use of central authority) will eventually bring a recognition that central authority is no longer necessary. The god you know as State will be caught with no clothes. They will be exposed for magnifying violence.
War is a magnification of murder, only made possible through the use of national fiat that has been debased. Bitcoin cannot be debased. It cannot be manipulated, or censored. Don’t like the fact that someone sent a transaction to buy weapons using bitcoin? Then why don’t you have a problem with the majority of weapons that are bought in cold hard USD? The state can’t stop it, it can only threaten more violence against those who use violence; so why does the state threaten violence against peaceful people?
Because Banks. War is the most profitable machine ever created. The boogie men are needed in the world to keep the war machine running. Terrorism is for profit. But this paradigm is coming to an end. They are defeated and have failed to realize that they’ve been checkmated. If they want to go the extra step of having the king taken off the board instead of resigning, they will have to use the internet kill switch. Good luck with that because as a statist engaging in such action, you just shut off you main source of income.
Hopefully those of you who are statists will come to realize that your religion is bogus and will only lead to more bloodshed.
