Today I would like to talk about a specific feature that isn't (entirely) implemented into the Steemit editor yet.
The ability to save drafts.
I know that Steemit does actually save the progress on a post that you're working on. I even tested out how reliable it is. I closed my browser and re-opened it, and my progress was saved. I even cleared my cache and it was saved. I haven't tried clearing cookies, or restarting my computer, but I have a feeling it might still save even after that. This is awesome for people who realize that they don't know what to finish writing, or if something suddenly comes up and they have to leave their computer. In those situations, you don't have to worry about losing the hard work you've already put into a post. Well, you could also just save it to another word editor. Now, here is a good question:
What if you wan't to work on multiple posts that you don't want to submit until later?
This is when the current draft feature would be a problem. You could work on those posts in an external word processor, and save them to copy over to Steemit later. This could become troublesome and time consuming, and it also takes away from Steemit being an all-on-one package for writing and posting. Also, what if you're not at home, and you come up with some awesome story ideas? Maybe you even forgot your flash drive. What would you do then? Don't get me wrong. I really love the capabilities the Steemit editor already has, but I think the ability to save multiple drafts will only add to its awesomeness. (I'm not sure what the draft feature is like on mobile)
What do you think? Would you like to see the option to save multiple drafts incorporated into Steemit?
Up-vote if you say "yes"
