When I first clicked the Reward Column I see blank. Then some Steemians (30s) also see blank and wonder Why..? For Me I waited and sure enough, it takes sometimes for this column to be filled up. Be patience.
Once filled up, I see and read, My previous posts obtaining Authors Rewards.
I know the History and which post gets Rewarded. How much is the Reward, thus clearly printed.
Fine...
What else..? This column also shows a record of Steemians paying money, why, and how much. I then go their pages and get connected with Them.
That is why as A Steemian I Read the Reward Column... Author's Rewards.
Then Curator's Rewards.
What is a Curation Reward?
Can it be a reward a Curator receives when the Curator UpVote a post. At least 50% of the rewards always go to the Author, the other 50% is divided between the Author, the Curators and the Commenters.
It seems that the Curation Rewards are paid out 100% in STEEM POWER. So this will increase the power of Our UpVotes, thus helping both the Author and Curator and Commenter.
At this moment I am still observing what is this Curator Reward is all about. A few lines at My own Curator Reward column and mostly 0 Steem Power, and that is it. Be patience and I shall wait and observe more.
The way I understand it, thus far:
Posts Value
The Authors gets 75% while the other 25% is split between the Author & Curator.
UpVotes
So, when a post is published and is live for 30 minutes, A Curator decides to UpVote it, then the whole portion of that 25% goes to the Curator. That is it.
Past the 30 minute mark of post publication, those rewards go straight to the Curator.
In Between
UpVotes made by Curators between 27 minutes and 30 minutes past the time the post has been made live, will be split 90/10.
Another In Between
15 minutes to 27 minutes. Of the available 25% up for grabs to Authors and Curators, 90% goes to the Curator and 10% goes to the Author... They possibly get 50% of the reward while the other 50% of the available 25% goes to the Author.
The Following In Between
Between 3 minutes and 15 minutes, the Curator UpVotes and possibly get 10% of the total 25% Curator Rewards while the Author gets 90%.
Whole Reward For Author
3 minutes after the post is up, Curator receives no possible Curation Reward... and the Author and the Author only, gets the entire 25% Curator Reward.
Curators Rewards Shared
A Curator UpVoting early will get more than a Curator voting later.
So it is good to watch New Posts..!
Observation
I also see something else under My posts of who actually Upvoted..? Once I wanted to Reciprocate by reading the others' post, I see the Author has no post, not following anybody, perhaps with only 3 Followers. Who are these..? Are they here to pursue only Curator Reward, and nothing else..?
