As I remember the day I started Blogging at Steemit.com #steemit My Reputation has been (25)
Steemians reminded Me, this number can go up or go down.
So how can a Reputation go up..?
I sense that if there is one point a Steemian can put value to is Posting. In addition is Comment. Then, UpVote. Next..?

Reputation is Your Posting is Quality 25.
Mine is 19 points increased. Thus, 44.
Let us for a moment consider Steemit as a Magazine of Bloggers, Posting Words and Pictures. Reputation has to do with Quality. 
In relations to My Reputation at Steemit, from 25 to 44 in the first month. The rise can be seen at My Steemit Blogger's Page... Then, whenever I click to see My Steemit Board of Honor, 
Comments
Writing Quality posts is supported by writing quality Comments. The Steemit Community Readers can easily know When a Steemian (25) writes a quality post and suddenly Comments are at a level, just writing, nice. or what is similar.
Cutters-and-Pasters normally is not regarded as contributive to the Mega Magazine of Bloggers (Steemit). Especially when Intellectual Property is highly valued at Steemit.

Some Steemians in the behavior "I UpVote Your post, so You must UpVote my post" In actual fact, to increase one's Reputation at Steemit is to UpVote only quality posting and quality Comments.
Perhaps when We are new, Some Steemians can reciprocate in terms of UpVotes and this is for the purpose of encouragements. However, in the long run of Writing flow, only quality postings and comments are UpVoted.
Simply UpVoting may not carry weight to Reputation.
The foundational base is Our Reputation is a telling the kind of contributor We are in contributing goodness to Steemit.com and the Steemit Community as a whole.
Well, a Reputation of 44 is fine. Someone told Me, to go and be in the 50 - 60 Reputation Category is more challenging. A few of your posts hit the Trending Lines. However there is a thin line if there are other ways to position OneSelf on the Trending Page at Steemit.
At this moment the highest Reputation is about 70-plus. So We hear Steemians aspiring to be in the 80s. Lets Us see the latest figure, when this is actually announced, should there be that Steemians who are already 80.

Points to consider, 1) No input of garbage to the overall Steemit Postings. 2) No verbal Kung Fu in click Reply to Comment. 3) No begging or at asking at worst forcing another Steemian for an UpVote.

Meanwhile I shall read more about Steemit, it is as though I am preparing MySelf to lecture on it, when the time comes in 2018 for Malaysians wanting to know. Or I be like an Malaysian Ambassador lecturing worldwide on Steemit.
