Good morning, warriors! It's already past mid-week, and only a few hours remain for the season to end.
At the moment,my Guild is involved in Brawl fights, and so am I.In one of the battles,I encountered QUORA TOWERSHEAD, a ruthless gladiator who is highly sought after by the Splinterlands warrior community. She is one of the fiercest epic gladiators, but the poison granted by my Archon (Cryptic) to two of my units was too much for her to handle.
Here, you would get to watch the battle replay,I would share with you.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building. Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! đĽ

Quora Towershead is a topâtier Earth tank in Splinterlands Gladius Edition, celebrated for her insane survivability, healing, and crowdâcontrol abilities.Sheâs an Epic Earth unit, 10âmana, and widely regarded as one of the most powerful and useful gladiator cards in the game. She remains a top tank in 2026 Guild Brawls due to its dual melee/magic attacks, high health pool, Bloodlust (health gain on kills), Heal (self-recovery), Dispel (buff removal), and Immunity (debuff resistance at higher levels).Out of the 32 Gladius Edition gladiators created, only 5 are epic, and Quora Towershead is one of them. Without much ado,let me take you to the battlefield!

Battle.
Ruleset and lineups:
The total mana cost for this battle was 53 and you are to choose units from all elements.The rulesets are as follows;
Up Close and Personal (Only melee attack power allowed).
Armored Up (+2 Armor to all units).
Fury (Double damage when Taunt is active).
My lineup
Summoner: Cryptic
Global debuffs: -1 Speed to all enemy units + Blind on all enemies at the start of battle.
Ability Chosen (Option B): Give Poison and Expose to Two Units.
- Poison: 50% chance to apply Poison after a successful attack (2 Health lost at the start of each round).
- Expose: 80% chance to strip defensive buffs (Shield, Void Armor, Immunity, etc.). Always removes Immunity first.
Team:
Tank: Doomshield Warden (Melee + Flank)
Gladiator: Isgard Vorst (Melee + Bloodlust + Opportunity)(position 2).
Tidal Tsunamist (Melee + Sneak)
Captain Fellblade (Dual attack Magic/Melee + Sneak)Received Poison & Expose
Bren Palesworn (Dual attack Ranged/Melee + Sneak + Shapeshift),Received Poison & Expose
Sugarblade (Melee + Flying + Opportunity
Opponent's Lineup (Chuul Jujinchi Summoner)
Tank: Silverblade Fighter â Melee with Flank.
Gladiator: Quora Towershead (Epic) â Dual attack (Magic + Melee) with Bloodlust + Heal. A feared unit that dispels buffs and sustains through fights.(Position 2)
Grimbardun Fighter â Melee with Shield.
Endless Ape â Melee with Scavenger.
Halaran Fortress â Melee with Flying + Charge.
Lioceros â Melee with Thorns.
My opponent relied on tankiness, healing and charge potential, but the ruleset and my debuffs turned their strengths into vulnerabilities.

Round 1,both sides ready for battle
Round 1, Scene 6, opponents last monster, first to be poisoned, dished out by Captain Fellblade as caught on camera.

Round 2,effect of the poison eating up opponents last monster slowly but effectively and finally succumbed at last

Round 2,Scene 10,next monster,Endless Ape,hit by poison as caught also on camera and the cycle continues till it gets to quora towershead.

Round 5,quora was next and she was facing six of my monsters still intact, game over before she could say Jack Robinson.

My Take.
The Poison Play was the star of the show.By smartly granting poison to Bren Palesworn and Captain Fellblade. These dual-attack Sneak units bypassed the frontline and pumped consistent damage-over-time (DoT) into the heart of the enemy formation.Quora Towershead, despite her strong Bloodlust and Heal, never got the chance to ramp up or sustain. The poison stacks melted through her health before she could shine, a classic "death by a thousand cuts". Quora simply couldn't handle the venom! â ď¸
Sneak attackers (**Tidal Tsunamist, Fellblade, Bren) created chaos in the backline, and Sugarblade's Flying + Opportunity added flexible cleanup duty.
My Opponent's setup, actually had potential with Charge and Flying units, but my speed debuff and Blind neutralized their initiative. The heal on Quora was rendered ineffective by the overwhelming poison pressure.
