Hello Hive Buzzers!
This is my first lightpainting picture where I used a stencil. The image is relatively simple in design. First I cut a butterfly out of a piece of cardboard. The resulting hole I have covered with white transparent foil. The stencil I then positioned in front of the camera and behind I fired a flash once. For the background I have used my homemade LED starstick in different colourmodes. Thats it. Simple, but Cosmic. Enjoy!

WHAT IS LIGHTPAINTING?
Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
