I have overlooked this spider so many times because I hardly notice it when I walk past the plant it lives on. Not until the third time that I decided to check on the plant and then I found this little spider.
It is a web spider, I think it is from the Anelosimus genus of cobweb spider. The spider is so small, and that is also the reason I mostly overlook it until finally I check it out.
It has a rather strange body, with a very small head and legs, but the abdomen is so big, and it most of its body is its abdomen. But the color and the pattern on the back of its body is so nice.
I also notice that there are some aphids around the spider which is still alive and roaming around. I am not sure why the spider doesn't eat them. Maybe the aphids have not tripped the alarm by touching the web that the spider built.
