Hi hi.. It is me.. . I am going to bring you on a tour in one of the markets of Miri, Sarawak. On the island of Borneo. This is the local market where most locals go to buy their daily fresh vegetables and fruits. There are also lots of local crafts, chicks, ducklings and also a place where you can sit down have food.

This is a tour of Tamu Muhibbah or Muhibbah market
This is one very popular market here in Miri.
Guinea Pigs
While I was there, I saw some really cute guinea pigs. There are two variants. The long furred and the short furred.
Ducklings
They are currently yellow in colour but once they grow into adults, they are gonna be white in colour.
The sellers usually sit on the floor
In these markets, you won't be finding anything that is hard to watch. Everything here is suitable for kids to visit too. This is a family friendly market. Most markets in Sarawak are like this. These sellers usually are here quite early.
Some pumpkins
These are locally grown pumpkins. On your left, winter melons.
The market from the outside
Lots of tourist visit this market when they drop by here. It's one of the most popular tourist spots. There are lots of unique plants and vegetables to look at as well as flowers to buy.
It's a busy market
Many of the sellers here are senior citizens so it's great to support them. The mom and pops business. You can also negotiate prices with them. I usually don't negotiate as they are senior citizens and may need money.
A lots of chilli
Aplenty in Sarawak are fresh produce. You can get them at an affordable price. Lots of people grow vegetables in their backyard. It's a good way to earn an honest living.
Cabbages
These are huge cabbage. Locally grown at a local farm. Great to get vitamins and minerals that our body needs. I hope that you enjoy reading this post. Have a great day.
