Greetings to all of us who have been in this beloved community. Today I again share some of the beautiful pictures of butterflies that I took in the Aceh forest a few days ago.
Getting to know butterflies, of course, is endless because butterflies have various species scattered throughout the world and as we know that butterflies come from caterpillars which are very scary and when he becomes a butterfly it looks very beautiful and of course. just so many people want to catch it.
Butterflies are also a little bigger and some are very small while the butterfly that I show you today is of medium size, and as you can see it is a person color combined with black on the wings which makes a butterfly. This butterfly looks more comfortable to look at.
After I took some pictures of the butterfly, I was curious about the other name of the butterfly, so I decided to google for information through the google lens on my smartphone and it turned out that this butterfly has a scientific name, Acraea terpsicore.
Acraea terpsicore, the tawny coster, is a small, 53–64 millimetres, leathery-winged butterfly common in grassland and scrub habitats. It belongs to the Nymphalidae or brush-footed butterfly family. It has a weak fluttery flight. It is avoided by most insect predatorssource
