My 24th #Index4Index comes at an appropriate time of the week as it is the middle of it and where I'm in more of a contemplation mode than most days.
For today's quote, I wanted to sync it up to my constant activity to try and keep up with the latest and greatest without losing a sense of who I am.
Basically, the older we get it's easy to fall into the trap of telling younger people - "well, back in my day"
Growing up any development was seem to be a slow process and today, things just happen so fast that sometimes it throws me for a loop and let me tell you, folks never believed my age most of my life. When I was younger they thought I was older and vice versa.
I remember having my first beeper, my first phone, touching a computer for the first time. Those were monumental moments for me.
Just this week, I started playing around with ChatGPT and I frickin flipped lol and was totally blown away. I know, I know, yes I was late to the party, but it made me think like an older dude and started looking at it as a negative thing.
I then microblogged about it on LEO THREADS and folks talked me off the ledge lol. Now, I can embrace it as I've done with everything from having the experience of hearing rap music before it hit the airwaves, actually living the Hip Hop life where I grew up in Brooklyn and now having to adapt what is nowhere near true Hip Hop. Just an analogy to give more context of what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I went super super old school and chose the great Albert Einstein for the quote I'm posting for today's submission:
