There was a time I was looking for job but couldn't get any, I tried all my possible best but I couldn't find. I was about to give up when my friend came to my place that day and I happen to tell her about my job hunting and she said she will call me if she see any vacancy.
Two days later, she called me and told me about where see saw vacancy. I asked her for the address and she sent it to me. I went there the following day for an interview and when I get there the madam is not around so I was asked to wait for her.
I waited for her for like an hour before she later arrived. she conducted the interview, we talked about the pay and everything, even though I'm not okay the payment but I have to accept the offer because I was really desperate. After we are done with the interview and I was about to leave the place when she asked me to help her take something from the shelf which I did, I gave it to her with a slight bow and that is when she asked me that who is the boss between us.
I was like I don't understand and repeated the question because I don't know what she's trying to say. When I asked her she said yes who is the boss between the two of us and I said it's her, and the next thing she said was "is that how you supposed to give me something if I asked you to bring something for me, you stand on your feet given me that as if you are the employer here, well don't worry I will get back to you"
I was like what does she mean, should I go on my knees because I wanted to give her something. In my mind I feel like giving her the beating of her life, just because I was desperate to get a job doesn't turn me to a slave. I didn't say about and just left the place. She didn't call back and I didn't go back either.
Some days after, I was passing the place with my aunty when I told her about what happened the day I went there for interview, my aunty did not say anything but just turned her car back when we get there she gave me money and asked me to buy something from her which I did.
When I get there she hasn't find anyone one yet and she attended to me herself, she attended to me with full respect which she didn't give the day I came for an interview. When I get back to the car I told my aunty and she told me that when you are searching for job, you will face some unpleasant experience but don't stoop yourself low because the way you present yourself is the way they will address you.
