The world wouldn't have looked this great without the help of technology because there are lots of things that technology has done for us and the internet is one the most important thing.
Technology has changed a lot of things in the aspect of education and we can't say we haven't benefited from this because, in this era that we are in now, almost everything has the touch of technology on them.
How does technology help me?
For me, technology has done more than enough in the aspect of education because I always explore the internet to get information or see what's going on over there.
For instance, when am writing an article and I needed to know the meaning of words I am not sure about, I search for the meaning on Google, and other times I just surf the internet to get a better understanding of things I do not know anything about.
When I was in school, I relied a lot on the internet to understand even after receiving lectures. I don't get to understand things quickly so I am one of those who sought the internet for more knowledge on what was taught in the lecture hall.
Did the internet cause distraction?
Sometimes when you don't fix your mind on what you are searching for on the internet you might get distracted by something else you see there.
I have mentioned before that I don't like reading with my phone to avoid distraction but when it comes to studying something important, I don't give room for any form of distraction.
Does it affect you positively?
Yeah for me it has affected my life positively simply because I am a slow learner and when I am with my phone I can easily check whatsoever I wanted to know.
If it has to do with education, the internet has helped me a lot because I don't read often and that makes me forget so many things but with the internet, I can easily refresh my memory.
How does the future look with the help of technology?
Well, it will get better than it is now because some years back technology was good but not as good as it is now so in the future, it will be better.
Imagine when we make use of those big desktop computers with CPUs. We can only use them at home, in the office, or in the school computer room but today, we can go around with our devices to study anywhere we want to.
Many thought that the best of technology was the desktop days and even with how things are, the best is yet to come.
In the future I expect something better than what we have now in technology, I expect technology to have improved more because even if it doesn't want to improve, the world we are in now will force it to improve.
Sooner or later, the current technology will require upgrades that will definitely help education improve more...
My opinion so far
My opinion so far about technology is that it has a very big impact on the world and especially the education sector because there is nothing you are looking for that you can't find on the internet.
