Today was an unusual day, got up later than usual and felt behind all day. I ran my errands and had some good video conversations with friends out of state.
Managing interactions and managing business and managing family and household is a big job. The challenge is balancing all of these, while maintaining Spiritual operation and not running according to the flesh.
The War in the Mind
The "law" in my flesh desires junk food every day, but the "law" in my mind says "no". When someone or something prevents me from doing something I desire, my flesh cries out saying "forbid me not", but my mind says "be patient". There's this constant battle trying to get the mind to compromise, to complicate the simple, blur the lines between right and wrong, to make for allowances... but the reality is that there is not compromise, it's not as complicated as people say, right and wrong have a clear division and allowances for evil is forbidden.
Doing what is good is easy because we make our minds up that it is good! Even things many consider extremely difficult becomes easy, when we determine in our mind it is good to do.
How do we enjoy a blessed life? We seek the ancient path and not conform to the pattern of the world, but our minds are renewed daily that we do not succumb to the will of the flesh, but live according to the will of the Spirit. This is how we bear good fruit, this is how we are blessed: by not blessing ourselves, but blessing the Most High!
I hope everyone has a great Thursday, the weekend is almost here!
Bless the Most High!
Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.
