"Smithy"

Greetings, friends. New illusrration for the board game is done. I work with Hive account@manoldonchev.
This is "Smithy". I had a previous version of this illustration, but decided to make a new one with a better idea. I had to make a ressearch of making a viking smithy and a fireplace. I wanted to paint the man's figure lit of one side. The whole space had to be dark ecxept the man's figure and smithy. This was my center of the compozition. I started painting from the background and man's figure. It was so pleasant to me to watch the spilling colours on the wet paper. I could make more layers.
This time the figure was not too smal to me to make the details on the face. Sometimes I have to be careful yo keep the light parts of the face. Once the colour be poluted would be not possible to make any changes. There are some steps of the process.
