This is PART 02 of How to rig a bird in Maya with Advanced Skeleton
I am making this series after creating a hummingbird for animation for a client.
In this free series I will cover the whole bird rigging process, made easy for animators and non riggers.
In Part 01 we covered model prep, joint placement from the bird template and setting up advanced skeleton. Now in this Part 02 we will rig the wings with special attributes for bendy features for every feather and add some fantastic animation features
This will work with any bird model, you can use your own or purchase various 3d bird assets on stock market places
I will NOT be covering how to create feather systems, this is a whole deeper skillset, but you can build a beautiful animator friendly bird right here! and π₯now all in 4K!
