JUNSEI'S NOTES
The K10 NISSAN MARCH was introduced in the Japanese market in 1982 and in Europe as the DATSUN MICRA in 1983 (the name was changed to NISSAN MICRA in 1985). The MARCH was NISSAN's model to compete with other Japanese supermini models, such as the TOYOTA 1300/Starlet.
The man pictured on the front of this brochure is Japanese singer, lyricist, actor, racing car manager and former semi-professional racing driver Masahiko Kondō. Nicknamed "Matchy" he acted as the Mascot for NISSAN's new subcompact car, and drove a NISMO-built MARCH "Super Silhouette".
