Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #ladiesofhive community. Life is too short to worry too much: how do you like to start your mornings?
Entering this life, the first advice I gave to myself is not to worry or disturb myself over things that don’t matter, knowing full well that life is very short for me to keep worrying or disturbing myself over things I can’t control. As of last year, I allow little things to disturb me; most times when I sit and reflect on them, I keep smiling, but at that point, I realised that it is not necessary to disturb myself over things I don’t have the power to control. That is why I made this big decision this year: never to worry about things.
I told myself, 'Cindy, I will not allow things to get into me. After all, things happen on their own. What is the need of me worrying over things I can’t control? Will it change anything? My slogan this year is ‘What will be will be.’ There is no need of worrying or disturbing myself over unnecessary things.
Once it comes to starting my day, I try my best to start it with a positive vibe. I try my best to avoid any bad energy. I love starting my day happy, full of energy and vibe. People in the house know how much I try to avoid anything that will make me angry or upset in the morning. Once I start the day with a bad vibe, everything I am doing that day will go south and east, you see. My morning is so sacred to me.
One thing I love about myself is I own my morning because if I set it up in a good way, my day will be nice, but if I start it in a bad way, it will affect my day. The moment I wake up from my bed, thousands of things are running through my mind. My morning starts with showing gratitude to my maker for the gift of life. Prayer is one thing I don’t miss; it is a moment I communicate with my maker and that I will reflect on my life, on things I would like to achieve and on how I will carry out my duty for the day. Exercise is one thing I can’t miss; it is my daily routine. After praying and reflecting on my life, I will exercise even if it is only for five minutes. It helps me to be super active.
After the exercise, I will do some house chores and prepare breakfast, head to the bathroom and have a quick shower, and rush to work. Currently now I don’t overstress myself or worry over things because I have come to understand that life is very short. Why the rush? Why allow things that don’t matter to keep bothering me? Nobody is perfect; everyone is struggling to achieve their goals. Celebrate every little win and be happy because life is too short. Enjoy every minute of your life as if it were the last.
