Michael used to have 2 dogs (a Lhasa Apso and a Rottweiler), and both were male. He was an animal lover, and he would take time studying and observing them. The Rotweiler was in charge of anything happening outside the environment, while the Lhasa would take charge of anything happening inside the environment.
He often noticed that there is a different kind of intelligence when it comes to dogs and even all other animals. For example, the birds in the sky, after flying for a long distance, would glide (without flapping) to give their wings a rest, a talking parrot, and there are so many other examples that show how intelligent they could be, but let's go back to the dogs.
Michael had noticed how they established a hierarchy system to identify the leader of the pack. These dogs had even gotten a sense of knowing when their owner would get back from work, and this is mostly visible by their unique barking and wagging of tails to seek attention. His dogs are able to identify who is family, friend, and an enemy.
His dogs are truly amazing because the more time they spend together, the better they understand his emotional states, such as when to play and when not to.
