we've all been there, that awkward moment of silence, where it seems everything is falling apart. somehow they're not adding up, I'm not here as some motivational talker but I'm as one who is still trying to figure it out
I was shocked the other day when our pastor actually addressed the issue in my heart while preaching, it seems I have told him everything and needed a counseling session, he said at some point Jesus christ was sorrowful, distressed and he prayed earnestly, it's a story we all know when it was a night to his crucifixion, Jesus even took with him some of his disciples with him some kind of emotional support system atleast be here with me pray with me, he came back finds them sleeping.
let me tell you something and this is what I say to me basically I am a self motivated person, I've been down alot but somehow I gathered courage from within and rise again.
there will come a time in life when you will be left alone, abandoned, deserted, a moment when silence in your head seems louder than the noise around you, a moment when your friends family close buddies will be distant, despite what you're going through expecting these people to sympathizes with you yet it looks obvious no one cares, it could be worst when at some point you've rendered help in whatever form to these people and now you're down in your mid life crisis, there it seems everyone now minding their business, you seem invincible as if you don't matter.
at these moments it's hard to go on, holding on to what you so believe, self doubt becomes inevitable, you wallow in your own misery, it's at these point we learn some of life's toughest lessons 'No One Really Cares, so work harder, these are times you need that emotional support and back up, there are no familiar faces to look up to.
Jesus trusted the few persons he asked to escort him to pray also but instead they left the mission and went to sleep, it wasn't just once untill the hour came that's when they realise.....
going through midlife crisis can be terrible but just hold your heart, hang on, till you come out , it's just a phase it will pass.
