So that's a provision within the bill. I heard him talking about it earlier. So that's not my point.
My point was the way she was obfuscating the reporter as she continued to do with everything else she was doing. Now, I took my theater seat late tonight. I apologize.
I want to get back to one thing. And that is, you said about the amnesty on the on the deportation. I'm a little freaked out about that because I haven't been on it.
What are you who proposed this bill? And where is it? Well, it was just proposed earlier. So they brought it up. It was introduced into the House.
I think it was proposed yesterday. And it's from Salazar and a whole bunch of, you know, Fitzpatrick's on there. Don Bacon's on there.
It's literally like the whole Rhino shebang. So it is a travesty of a bill. Go ahead, George.
You can speak whenever you want. It's it's a reintroduction. Walter, just so you know, it's a modified bill, but it's a reintroduction, modified version of the twenty twenty three Dignity Act from Maria Salazar.
Miss Lou, if you were late to the theater seat, I broke it down a little bit on how this originated and how I and again, don't don't shoot me. I had somewhat involvement in the beginning stages of development of this bill, and then I walked away from it when it became something that I could no longer support. Right.
It was it was designed initially to be a conservative compromise on giving back a recipient an opportunity for residency. So essentially they'd be on a dignity status for 10 years, non petitionable, non transferable, not marriable into. And then after those 10 years, they apply for a green card.
