Why Most Newbies Fail in Hive Journey? Sharing My Three Years Experience

Assalamualaikum and hello to my #indiaunited community. It's my first post in this contest. When I came across a blog from a user in this community, I thought to share my three years hive journey. This post will be an interesting one and reality based . I hope newbies as well as oldies will enjoy it and learn from it.

When I joined hive back in February 2023, I still remember my introduction post curated only by few curators. I didn't get much support in the beginning. My mentor and respected personality sir Hive account@yousafharoonkhan brought me on this platform. He is working here since 2017. He is also an experienced person on hive. So let's come to the topic. So here I want to give few advices to newbies, because if you are thinking to join hive then you will have to choose a guider, a teacher or a mentor who will guide you in this journey. Believe me without guidance from an experienced person you cannot survive here. Here are few advices for newbies.

The first and foremost advice which every newbie should follow is consistency. Without consistency, you cannot grow here. You will have to forget the results. Just keep posting, keep engaging with others posts. The biggest example of consistency on hive is an experienced person whom I am following for a long time is a user namely Hive account@bhattg . He is gem of a person. He is very consistent amd posting his quality blogs on daily basis. So being consistent is key to success on hive. If you are a lazy person and you need motivation to carry on any work, then this platform is not for you. Because your blogs may not be supported at the beginning. But if you remained consistent, you will be surprised to see the results.

The second advice which I want to give you through my experience is that being a newbie you will have to post in large and active communities. If you are posting in little or dormant communities, your quality content may be wasted. So keep in mind post in large and active communities like leofinance, gems, photography lovers, neoxian city, India united etc.

Next advice is an interesting one , if you want to be consistent on hive you will have to forget about perfection. If you want to write a perfect blog, you will be fed up soon. Because perfection needs practice and in the beginning you will make mistakes and your write ups may be bit ordinary but keep posting , don't chase perfection otherwise you will be quitter.

You should believe in compounding affect. A river is made drop by drop. One USD per post is little but more than 400 USD per year is good amount. So believe in compounding affect and be consistent, the results will follow you.

Don't chase money, chase quality, money will follow you. Creat quality content, forget about curation in the beginning. Don't think about upvotes, just post, post and post.

And the last one is that never scam on hive. Don't copy paste any content. Don't use AI , only original content is appreciated here on hive. Your efforts will be wasted if you try to scam here. Always come up with original content.

At last Itell you the process of signing up on hive. First sign up on hive.blog. Creat a username and complete your profile. After that save your keys and print out these keys and keep them in a lock up. Of you loose these keys , you will losse your account. You cannot recover it once you lost your keys. Use ecency mobile app for creating content on hive. It's a very easy , simple and rewarding app.
