Friday Hive Chess Tournament
Greeting Hiveans and Chess Community
Whoa, yesterdays tournament was fun yeah but it was pretty brutal. Lol. I Literally lost more than half the games I played. It was full of so much blunders and I guess my head wasn't fully in the game.
I looked at the games of other players with strong ratings and it seems most us collectively had a "not so good game" last night LOL. ๐น Well, as I often say, there are good days and there are bad days. You just have to accept that it can't go your way all the time and as much as possible, just have your fun ๐

Game Highlights and In-Depth Analysis
Round Fixtures:
โ JUST_OLA VS SOUTHGAMER
White beserked and opened with the Queen's Pawn Game: London System. Honestly, both players played well but I guess what gave black the advantage was the beserk from White and also the blunder from move 16, White lost his Knight. White tried to cut his loss and still push further but then made another blunder at move 19 which made checkmate inevitable and then black won the round.

โ ENILOW VS OHIEKU
This was a very shocking game. I saw a draw between one of the players that dominate the board in the blockchain team and a player below 1800. Ohieku overall played pretty well last night, I got flogged too numerous times by Ohieku last night. Ohieku managed the draw by staying solid after the opening and avoiding major blunders against Eniolw. Even after some inaccuracies earlier, he kept finding practical moves, and converted the game into a drawable king endgame โ๏ธ.
