I entered the Astral Plane to complete a challenge that unlocked a new super ability called Launch. The power allowed me to grab and throw highlighted objects to solve puzzles and defeat enemies, making the experience feel completely different from standard combat.

After cleansing the Object of Power, I was sent to the Astral Plane to complete a challenge. This one felt so cool as I got to connect to a new super ability.

I could grab highlighted objects like Jean Grey of X-Men, and I could launch or throw those objects anywhere I wished to. I tried it for the first time to break a wall open for me.

I had nowhere to go at that point. I had to align a cube inside a portal, and then some paths appeared that I used to move forward. Now it looks like I'm really controlling something in Control.

There came some enemies that I had to destroy with my new ability. It was so fun using those objects against my enemies. Though I tried the service weapon as well, and I'm glad I could.

There were more enemies ahead, and they were shooting me, so I took cover first, and this time I took all the enemies down using this new ability alone.

I completed the challenge, so I was sent back from the Astral Plane, and there came some Hiss enemies to stop me. The ability I just learned is called Launch, and Jesse mentioned I could use it against the Hiss.

Some enemies were coming towards me, so I started using Launch and took some of them down. This ability was actually the one that the object of power was using earlier.

I was more confident having this ability, so I was going for the enemies without waiting for them to come or for me. The only frustration about Launch was that it also needs recharging, so I needed to use the service weapon in such a situation.

I lost some health in the meantime, but I was not getting scared somehow cause now I had a super power I could use. I took down the last hiss in that room and collected the health that came out of the enemies.
