RE: Welcome to Living Traditions Homestead
No we haven't gone floating yet but we do live very close to a really nice creek (Bryant Creek) and we spend a lot of time there fishing and swimming. It really is a beautiful place to live!

RE: Welcome to Living Traditions Homestead
Sarah and I both grew up in Wisconsin! I grew up in Oshkosh and Sarah in a small town called Rosendale. We would love to hang out sometime. We are less than an hour from AR.

RE: Eating Snapping Turtle for the First Time! Learning to Rely on What God has Provided.
We were really amazed how much we liked them and how much our kids like them. They will definitely be a regular for source for us from now on. Glad we're not the only crazy ones! haha - Kevin

RE: Off Grid vs. On Grid: Should We Be Going Off Grid?
We are definitely considering a sun oven. I will check out the other link you sent as well. I really think we are headed more in the direction of staying on grid but reducing our need for electric in general

I know we had solar city in AZ but haven't seen a presence here in Missouri. Will look more into it! Thanks for the suggestion.

RE: Off Grid vs. On Grid: Should We Be Going Off Grid?

RE: Did I Just KILL MY PEACH TREE? - And Jaimie Makes FIRE ROASTED SALSA!
Great video. We are just a little further north of you in Southern Missouri. I bet the tree will heal itself, but it's probably in shock and putting it's effort into repairing itself instead of feeding
