Once again, your friend Manuel here is super happy to share a new artistic post for my blog. This time, I bring you an illustration that I've been working on over the last few days. It's a piece inspired by the game #Holozing, but adapted slightly to the world or realm of knight warriors. In this case, I wanted to illustrate the Healer of Light as if he were a kind of fervent knight with armor and a sword, since, as you know, I am a big fan of this type of character, and well, I wanted to mix it with the game to see how the Healer would look in this style... I hope you like my idea, and here I will leave you with the complete process of its creation:
Muy buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz miércoles y feliz mitad de semana para todos y espero que se encuentren super bien y que se encuentren pasando una productiva semana, por aquí los saluda una vez mas su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. En esta ocasión les traigo una ilustración en la cual estuve trabajando en los últimos días, se trata de una obra inspirada en el juego de #Holozing, pero adaptándola un poco al mundo o ámbito de los guerreros caballeros, en este caso quise ilustrar al Sanadora de la Luz como si esta fuese una especie de ferviente caballero con armadura y espada, ya que como sabrán yo soy muy fanático de este tipo de personajes, y bueno quise hacer una mezclar de ello con el juego para probar a ver que tal quedaría el Sanador en este estilo…espero les guste mi idea y aquí los dejare con el proceso completo de su creación:
Well, first things first, I had to create the sketch that would give my drawing its main structure. In this case, I drew the Light Healer, adapting his appearance and, above all, his style a little so that he resembled a knight. I drew him full-length with short hair combed slightly upward, wearing sturdy armor that covered most of his body and carrying a spear slung over his back. Once I finished the sketch, I moved on to the next step, coloring. In this case, I used my flat brush to define the features of the face, nose, eyelids, and so on, and then watercolor to create shadows and blend them with the other strokes until I achieved a more realistic skin texture.
Bueno, lo primero era lo primero, crear el boceto que daría la estructura principal a mi dibujo, en este caso dibuje al Sanador de la Luz adaptando un poco su apariencia y sobre todo su estilo para que se asemejara a un caballero, lo dibuje a cuerpo completo con una cabellera corta y un poco peinada hacia arriba, con una robusta armadura que cubriese la mayor parte de su cuerpo y con una espiada colgada en su espalda. Una vez termine con el boceto me pase al siguiente apartado, el coloreado, en este caso use mi pincel plano para definir los rasgos de la cara, la nariz, parpados y demás y luego el acuarela para crea sombras e irlas mezclando con los otros trazos hasta conseguir una textura de piel más realista.
In the second step, I focused on creating the costume, which in this case would be a large knight's armor for the Healer. I started with a base of gray and dark yellow tones to form a suit that would be the basic structure of her outfit. Then, on the upper part, I began to create the pieces of armor that would cover her torso, shoulders, forearms, and other parts of her body. In this case, I started with a base of light grays, then little by little I began to work on the metal, adding highlights and shadows in the appropriate areas, as well as gold details on the chest and shoulder pads to represent the colors of the Light Healers.
En el 2do paso me ocupé de construir la vestimenta, que en este caso seria una gran armadura de caballero para el Sanadora, empecé con una base de tonos grises y amarillos oscuros para formar un traje que seria la estructura base de su atuendo. Luego en la parte de arriba comencé a crear las partes de la armadura que cubrirían su torso, hombros, antebrazos y otras partes de su cuerpo, en este caso comencé con una base de grises claros, luego poco a poco comencé a trabajar el metal dando brillos y sombras en zonas adecuadas, así como detalles en dorado en el pecho y las hombreras que representaran el colorido de los Sanadores de la luz.
With regard to the hair, I decided to slightly change the original long hair of the Light Healer, and I wanted him to have short hair combed back, giving him a slightly more elegant and formal style. To do this, I used grays for the base, whites for the strands, and a little yellow in the middle. To create the sword on his back, I used grays similar to those of the armor, but a little darker. In this case, I used slightly rougher brushes to work on the texture of the weapon so that it would look a little different from the armor. I used yellows to create a leather cloth around the hilt, as well as browns for the sheath where the sword would be stored.
Con respecto al cabello decidí cambiar ligeramente la cabellera larga original del Sanador de la Luz, y quise que mejor llevase el pelo corto y peinado hacia atrás, dándole un estilo un poco mas elegante y formal, para ello use grises para la base, blancos para los mechones y un poco de amarillo en el medio. Para la creación de la espada en su espalda use grises similares a los de la armadura, pero un poco mas oscuros, en este caso use pinceles un poco mas rugosos para trabajar la textura del arma de modo que se viese un poco diferente a la de la armadura, use amarillos para crear una tela de cuero alrededor de la empuñadura, así como marrones para el estuche donde estaría guardada la espada.
