Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano.
In today’s world, forgiveness and forgetting offenses have become uncommon. Many Christians choose not to forgive or let go of what others have done to them because the pain they experienced is often deep and hurtful.
People tend to forget good deeds easily. Someone may have helped them in the past, yet that kindness is quickly forgotten. However, when they are offended or when a promise is broken, they find it very difficult to forgive or move on.
Some individuals may appear to forgive when asked, but in their hearts, they still hold on to what was done to them. According to Bro. Eli’s teachings, when love is present, forgiving and forgetting becomes easier. He explained that the absence of love in the world is the main reason forgiveness is so hard to practice (Hebrews 8:12).
Many Christians have fallen into this trap. They are unable to forgive what fellow church members or even their pastors have done to them. Yet, they continue attending church regularly while carrying bitterness in their hearts. This bitterness can hinder their prayers and may even block their blessings.
Love is one of the greatest virtues we must possess. Without love, forgiving and forgetting wrongs becomes impossible. The devil takes advantage of this weakness, knowing how difficult it is for humans to ignore pain. But when we have genuine love, we can rise above these struggles.
Brethren, let us learn to forgive and forget one another.
Conclusion
Forgiveness is not only for the benefit of others; it also frees us and strengthens our relationship with God. True love makes forgiveness achievable, and through God’s grace, we can release our pain and live in peace.
