Good evening everyone!

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is: The Last of Us: Gustavo Santaolalla

Lisa: Gustavo Cerati

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Lisa of the legendary argentine artist Gustavo Cerati.

These days I've been going through the entire discography of one of my favorite national rock artists: Gustavo Cerati. In the past, I had listened to all his albums on Spotify, but it was very likely that I had missed a song or two because I wasn't always with my headphones on. I started the journey with his first album, Amor Amarillo, and there I came across a song that I loved: Lisa.

Since I heard it for the first time, I couldn't stop repeating the song over and over again. So just on the first day I discovered it, I must have listened to it more than five times.

Lisa is part of Amor Amarillo, Gustavo Cerati's first solo album, released in 1993. The inspiration for the song came during a visit to Lake Vichuquén, in Chile, a place where mullets (fish) abound. This lake was one of Cerati's favorite destinations to spend the summer with his wife and children, a special place that became a refuge of peace.

Gustavo Cerati was born in 1959 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was an Argentine musician considered one of the most influential artists of rock in Spanish.

In 1982, together with Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberdi, he founded Soda Stereo. The band would become the most famous Latin American rock band, releasing successful albums such as Signos, Doble Vida and Canción Animal.

While still part of Soda Stereo, in 1993 he released his first solo album: Amor Amarillo. It was a complete success and included songs such as Amor Amarillo, Lisa and Te llevo para uqe me lleves.
